  • Laurent Blanchard

    Laurent BlanchardFollowing his studies at the Conservatoire National de Region of Lyon, Laurent BRANCHARD was admitted to the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique of Paris where he was awarded the first prize in saxophone and chamber music (1994) by a unanimous decision of the jury.

    He has won prizes in international competitions such as Arvika (Sweden, 1992), Privas (1993) and Rueil-Malmaison (1993) and has also performed with such prestigious orchestras as the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre National de l`Opera de Lyon, the Orchestra of Suisse-Romande, the Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Orchestre des Concerts Lamoureux, the Volutes Ensemble and many others.

    His appearance at the Radio-France Festivals in Montpellier, Aix-en-Provence and Montreux enabled him to collaborate with great conductors like Kent Nagano, Yutaka Sado, Semyon Bychkov, Michael Plasson, Pinchas Steinberg, David Wroe, Louis Langre, Patrick Davin and others.

    He is also a member of the Emphasis Saxophone quartet, an ensemble which has also won a number of international prizes and which is still very active in France and other European countries (Spain, German, Italy, Belgium, Romania, Poland, Austria, Portugal) as well as in Japan, Taiwan, Morocco and the Ivory Coast.

    Laurent Blanchard also teaches at the National School of Music of Dole and acts as a teaching advisor at the Music Teachers’ Training Centres of Metz and Dijon under the auspices of the French National Ministry of Culture.

    To cap it all, he is also a guest Professor at the Universities summer camp of Taiwan (Taipai, Taoyuan).



  • Soon-Ik Lee

    Soon-Ik LeeSoon Ik Lee was born in Seoul, graduated from Curtis Institute of Music.

    Prizewinner of the Nicolo Paganini international violin competition.

    Played with many orchestras including Houston symphony, Nashville symphony, Sofia philharmonic, Joseph Suk chamber orchestra, Fairfield chamber orchestra, Seoul symphony orchestra, KBS symphony orchestra, Korean symphony orchestra and many other orchestras.

    Jury member of Carnetti International Competition, Lisbon International Competition, Bulgaria International Competition and taught in master classes at Spain, Portugal, Canada, United States, China, and Russia.

    Played many concerts in United States, Morocco, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Russia, Rumania, Mexico, Canada, Chile, Czech, Argentina, England, Australia, Austria, Uruguay, Turkey, Hungary, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, China, Japan, India, Italia, Egypt, Israel, Netherlands, Islands, Guatemala, Spain, Hong Kong and Thailand.

    He is a Professor in Han Yang University in Seoul, Korea, since 1993.



  • Natalia Michailidou, Greece

    Natalia MichailidouBorn in Constantinoupoli, where she took her first piano lesson by her mother distinguished pianist Popi Mihailidou. At the age of five, she perform for first time in a solo concert in Constantinoupoli.

    With a scholarship of the French Government she continue her studies in Paris at the ¸cole Normale de Musique. Graduated with the highest diploma "Concertiste", with special mention, at the age of 17.

    She continued her studies in USA, where she obtains her "Master". at the "Washington University".

    Back to Paris where in concert series with French Music she was granted with "Álbert Roussel" scholarship.

    She has been awarded special prizes in many International Piano Competitions as in Barcelona, Vercelli and Atheneum, and from then she started a brilliant carrier.

    She has performed as a soloist in many countries in USA, Europe, Asia, and Russia. A frequent guest at music festival and she has collaborate with distinguished maestros and soloists. Performed as a soloists with the State Orchestra of Athens and Thessaloniki, with the National Orchestra of the Greek Radio, Kamerata, the Patra’s Soloists, "Orchestre Colonne" in Paris, the Symphonic Orchestra of Constantinoupoli, Seoul and Bousan, Moscow Radio and many others. Many of her performances has broadcasts from the TV and Radio.

    Although her specialization in French Music, she has a very wide repertory and she has perform for many contemporary composers.

    She has participate as a pianists and actress for the role of Alma Mahler of Magda Mavrogiani, and she collaborate with Eleni karaindrou.

    As a pedagogue, she teaches in many conservatories and in master-classes Greece and in Universities in abroad. From 2001, she held the Athens class in "Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris".

    She has been invited as a jury member in many piano competitions.

    In 2003, she received the Disc Prize from the Greek and Theatre Critics Association for her last recording of Lalon Hedor with Lyra.
