Repertoire
The Competition programme shall be played from memory.
Each contestant shall indicate the exact time of performing each piece.
Eliminatory Round: (maximum playing time 30 minutes)
a) A Prelude and Fugue from Wohltemperierte Klavier of Johann Sebastian Bach.
b) Etude of Chopin.
c) One mouvement of a sonata from Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven. (The participant will choose which mouvement will play).
d) A free piece chosen by the participant.
Semi-Final Round: (maximum playing time 30 minutes)
a) One etude of Liszt or Skriabin or Rachmaninov or Prokofiev or Debussy or Bartok or Ligeti
b) An important work of Romanticism (including Weber and Schubert)
c) one composition of a composer of the 20th century.
Final Round:
A recital program of the candidates' choice up to 40 minutes.
