The International Piano Competition organised by ARTE CON ANIMA.
The competition will consist of three rounds (eliminatory, semi-final and final) and is open to the public.
The order of the appearance of the competitors will be defined by a draw, which will take place on the 2nd of May 2016.
All the competitors will have the possibility to practice on a piano in strict rotation.
All pieces must be performed from memory and without repeats.
Competitors must not overpass the maximum duration of program. If such, the Jury can interrupt the competitor.
All prizewinners must be present at the closing ceremony for prizes award. In case of justified absence, the prizewinner may request the prize award to be forwarded to him/her at his/her own expenses.
All rights of recording and recordings' exploitations (CDs, Videos, Photos, DVDs, Radio or television broadcasting etc.) are reserved to Arte Con Anima. Competitors cannot claim economic rights for any performance or for the prizes winners concert.
All finalists will receive a diploma of participation. For the competitors disqualified in the Semi-Final round, a certificate will be issued on their demand.
The participants of the competition must implicitly and unconditionally accept all regulations and must observe them; failure to adhere to regulations will cause their exclusion from the competition.
Arte Con Anima reserves the right to modify or change the present regulations.
Travel, accommodation and visa costs, if necessary, are the responsibility of the participants themselves.
To those applicants who need a visa, an official invitation will be sent as required by the Artistic Director.
All candidates must use the enclosed entry form to register at the competition. Each registration must be accompanied by:• A copy of his or her passport or ID card or a photocopy of the birth certificate.
• Brief curriculum vitae containing the candidate’s musical education and previous concerts (not more than 10 lines).• A definitive list of the pieces to be played in the competition together with the duration of each piece. Changes of the program may be accepted under certain circumstances.• Three latest portrait photographs for use in the Competition programme and press releases.• The entry form, with all the above mentioned and a photocopy of the receipt of the payment order to the bank (of the entry fee).The participation application form, attached to these Rules, should be completed

The 7th Rhodes International Piano Competition shall be held in Rhodes/Greece from 3 to 8 May 2016.
The Competition is open to pianists of all nationalities born between 1984 - 1999.
The closing date for subscription is March 31st, 2016
Each candidate must pay a subscription fee of 155 Euro. In case of cancellation the subscription fee won't be reimbursed. Any banking transfer fees must be added to that amount prior to transfer.
